Player selections

After a fun weekend hiatus the GMs are back with some exciting news: player selections.

The first turn will be due on Tuesday March 29th. Turns are due every Tuesday and Sunday at midnight PST. People don't hesitate to ask us any questions as you begin working on your turns. The GMs will also be open to looking at any turns before they're due.

All orders should be turned in to conquestgames@gmail. If possible, please label the orders in the following form "PLAYER LAST NAME - TURN X"

Lastly, we're still open to balance or rule tweaks if we see anything, and of course we ask that any "bugs" or imbalances in the game be called out.

The Game Masters are currently re-evaluating the starting conditions.

"The Floor" section of the forums is now open. Feel free to drop in and discuss events in the game. The Floor is the perfect place to make in-character declarations, give speeches and discuss the issues of the day.

Each player has also been outfitted with an Avatar.

Please note two important changes in the rules:

— Players begin the game with $100

— There is no president at the beginning of the game. After five turns, a state of Anarchy will come into effect. If no president is elected, players will lose 10% of their Turn 6 income to banditry, with that percentage rising each turn (by 2%) until a president is inaugurated.

And with that, the game has begun!
